A last burger in the patio, a last one of those great burgers, with parmesan truffle fries and a ton of mayonnaise. Cause live with it, Vince, we are Europeans and we drown them in that shit. That was the plan on that nice afternoon in May 2016. Tomorrow morning the plane would take off for Berlin, the apartment was in order, the suitcases rudimentarily packed. At least enough to feel very free and not stressed at all. And hasn't science clearly proven that a sip or two of champagne is very beneficial for a healthy digestion? So it began. Just a wee bit later an unstoppable breeze of happiness blew us straight to the reception. "Might you have a spare room for tonight..? Oh really? A suite? A balcony with a view? Let me get my toothbrush, my good man, and I'll see you in a jiffy." Between this moment and a very very very tight arrival in an airplane seat, a bunch of quickly gathered friends, the Liquor Locker, once again Jumbo's Clown Room, The Body Shop, Chevron on Sunset and Pinches Tacos each played a role not to be underestimated.
